Lula's voting intention is a stronghold and will lead him to victory on Sunday.

"Since reaching between 48% and 50% of voting intentions during the first round of the election, Lula has remained firmly at this level," he writes.

Since reaching between 48% and 50% of voting intentions during the first round of the election, Lula has remained firmly at this level. The loyalty and conviction of his electorate are extremely important factors.

This means nothing less than that Lula holds a sufficient number of votes to lead him to victory on Sunday. But this point has not received the attention it deserves from commentators on GloboNews, among others.

The polls reveal an unprecedented situation: regardless of the methodology used, several institutes converge on the same result: 53% vs. 47% for Lula. This is the case with Datafolha, Quaest, Ipespe, Atlas, and Poder Data. Ipec shows a larger difference: 54% vs. 46%.

For obvious reasons, I refuse to consider the numbers from some clearly fraudulent polls, whose objective is to throw a lifeline to the fascist captain.

By my calculations, each percentage point is roughly equivalent to one million two hundred thousand votes. Six percentage points, therefore, equals seven million two hundred thousand votes.

While it's true that abstention could affect Lula's candidacy more than Bolsonaro's, it's also necessary to consider some factors that could mitigate the problem of voter absenteeism, such as:

1) The enormous lines from the first round, which caused many people to give up voting, should not be repeated, since it is no longer five votes, but two in some states or just one in others;

2) This Sunday, in all capital cities, bus fares will be free. And not only in the capital cities. Free transportation will also be available to voters in other large cities across various states.

Regarding the Globo debate this Friday (28), although I recognize that it may have some impact among the very small percentage of undecided voters, I am skeptical about the possibility that it can decisively influence such a crystallized election.

My biggest concern is the even stronger flood of fake news that Bolsonaro supporters will unleash now that radio and TV election advertising has been taken off the air. I hope Lula's campaign has prepared itself.

Venceremos!
