Fruits

Bolsonaro's assertion that he leads the nation according to the wishes of the evangelical leadership is a deliberate violation of the secular state.

The president said, according to reports in the mainstream media, that he leads the nation with the evangelical leadership's wishes in mind.

This should immediately trigger an impeachment request (yet another one), for a very simple reason: such a statement is a deliberate breach of the secular state.

This statement by the President of the Republic is an insult to all other religious denominations, and an open disobedience of constitutional principles.

According to the report, the response from the evangelicals present to this statement came in the voice of a pastor, who said that the electoral contest had become a war between heaven and hell.

What the pastor forgot to mention is that hell is represented by the candidate the pastor supports, which means that the pastor in question has become an agent of this hell.

Of course, I don't see these elections as a clash of that magnitude, especially since, being an evangelical Christian, I deplore any use, or rather, abuse of faith to corrupt citizenship, although I understand that the election that awaits us will be a confrontation with the neo-Nazi forces established in the country.

However, when working from this pastor's argument, I cannot help but make the considerations I have made, because, as Jesus said, "by their fruits you will know them."

And the fruits of this government are well known, and they are: hunger; unemployment; shortages; deindustrialization; economic ruin; attacks against national sovereignty; destruction of the environment in favor of predatory agribusiness; loss of rights for workers; historical regression, yet to be calculated, due to the magnitude of the damage perpetrated against the nation.

This is without even mentioning the arms policy for the civilian population, which ended up promoting an opening for violence that, inevitably, further victimizes the vulnerable.

These fruits characterize the works of hell which, according to our sacred text, Christ came to denounce and defeat.
