Fascists and coup plotters, you shall not prevail!

Fascism was mobilized in Brazil for the 2016 coup d'état. Aware of how breaking the pact would lead to a profound crisis of the political regime, the bourgeoisie prepared a solution by force from the beginning. The 2016 coup was the beginning of an outright military dictatorship.

The interdependence between coups and fascism is such that we at the newspaper O Homem Livre were already saying in 2015 that the coup would lead to fascism. We denounced the coup as part of the fascist development since that year. And now, there are those who want to preserve the coup plotters in the fight against the fascists.

There's no way to fight fascism by allying with the coup plotters. It's not about separating people based on concepts. The Brazilian fascist phenomenon was caused by the coup plotters, prepared and financed by the coup plotters.

Faced with anti-fascist demonstrations, faced with real democracy, the democracy of the streets, the coup plotters will all resort to the military.

Overthrowing Bolsonaro and allowing the coup plotters to remain in power is giving them even more space and fertile ground to prepare fascism to wipe us out. Yes, these so-called 'democratic' coup plotters want to eliminate us; they just don't say it openly like Bolsonaro.

To be radical is to go to the root of the problems. To be anti-fascist is to overthrow the coup plotters from power. To overthrow the fascists, both openly and openly.
