Dilma requests expert evaluation and coup plotters appoint anti-PT expert.

Diego Prandino Alves, an expert chosen by the commission to analyze the impeachment process documents and a consultant for the Senate, is the author of several Facebook posts against Dilma and the PT (Workers' Party). In other words, he could not perform the work impartially.

While the motherland remains so distracted, it is being robbed in shady dealings. Despite the self-flagellating coup, with the Republic's chief crook appointing bandits to his white, old, and rich "machistery," in the Senate the coup plotters are carrying out the farcical process against Dilma Rousseff.

A recent episode involving the process in question speaks volumes about the farce staged in the "upper house" of the Republic, orchestrated by a former governor of Minas Gerais who, along with Aécio Neves, is increasingly appearing in the spotlight. tangled up in the Lava Jato corruption investigations.

An audit by the CGE (Comptroller General of the State of Minas Gerais) revealed that contracts signed between Minas Gerais state-owned companies and relatives and an employee of Senator Zezé Perrella (PTB-MG) caused losses of R$ 18,9 million to public coffers between 2007 and 2011, during the governments of Aécio Neves and Antônio Anastasia, both members of the PSDB party.

Anastasia, whose turn to be held accountable before the courts is drawing near, has been involved in increasingly regrettable episodes as the mastermind behind the Senate impeachment committee. His latest escapade is an affront to the rule of law, due process, and the Constitution.

President Dilma Rousseff's defense requested that the Impeachment Committee audit the documents that formed the basis of the charges against her, and that the procedure be carried out by an international body, but the request was denied by the committee's rapporteur, Antonio Anastasia (PSDB-MG). The audit was put to a vote and blocked by a majority of senators.

However, the president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Ricardo Lewandowski, accepted an appeal from Dilma's defense for the forensic examination to be carried out and gave the defense and prosecution 24 hours to appoint two assistants to monitor the forensic work and to evaluate the names indicated for carrying out the examination.

Since the majority of the Commission is in favor of impeachment, a tremendous scheme was then produced to, in a completely suspicious manner, prevent the expert examination of the documents that support the accusation against the President of the Republic.

According to PT Agency“The set of elements that prove the coup against President Dilma Rousseff was expanded in the Special Impeachment Committee in the Senate, on Wednesday (15)”. A biased expert was chosen to analyze the process documents, says the party.

Diego Prandino Alves, a consultant for the Senate, was appointed to coordinate the forensic work, but he is the author of several Facebook posts against Dilma and the PT (Workers' Party). In other words, he could not impartially carry out the forensic work on the documents.

Despite this fact, the Senate committee upheld the nomination.

The anti-PT majority on the Commission had already tried to prevent the expert analysis from taking place, raising serious suspicions about the documents that underpin the proceedings against Dilma. They only failed to prevent the analysis of these documents due to a decision by the president of the Supreme Court, Ricardo Lewandowski, who is responsible for conducting the proceedings in the Senate.

José Eduardo Cardozo, Dilma's lawyer, argued that the expert's messages on Facebook cast doubt on his work. Curiously, all the experts appointed by the anti-PT majority in the Senate deleted their Facebook accounts.

Senator Gleisi Hoffmann, from the Workers' Party, shared a video on her Facebook profile in which Cardozo denounces the bias of the expert in question.

After the Special Impeachment Committee rejected Dilma's defense request to challenge the coordinator of the process's expert analysis, the president of the Senate, Renan Calheiros (PMDB-AL), told associates that he will publish a statement criticizing the impartiality of the procedure. This action is likely to cause embarrassment and could lead to the expert's resignation.

If the Impeachment Committee does not back down from using a fanatical anti-PT (Workers' Party) supporter to examine documents that accuse President Dilma, there will certainly be an appeal to the President of the Supreme Court, who has the power to order that the documentation be examined seriously.

However, the attempt to prevent a serious forensic examination of the documents used to accuse Dilma raises serious suspicions. What could be in these documents that would lead the president's defense to request an audit, and the coup plotters to try to prevent the examination and, failing that, appoint someone without credibility to carry it out?
