God, the nation, and the deceivers

Sérgio Moro, Eduardo Cunha, and Jair Bolsonaro have much more in common than their indomitable thirst for power and the hatred they harbor for those who think differently.
The three are sick beings, manipulators of innocent and well-meaning people, and especially ruthless with those who stand in their way and hinder their ambitions for power.
They are hypocrites, deceivers, and demagogues who exploit God and nation in salvationist and supposedly biblical speeches.
They share the burden of having attacked the rule of law and democracy.
And the three will have in common, in the near future, the condition of being abject extras in the sewers of history.
In the statement responding to the well-deserved scolding he received from the Speaker of the House, Rodrigo Maia, "Jair's employee," Sérgio Moro, demanded the respect he doesn't deserve and ended the statement with a biblical praise that would make even the fanatical pastor Deltan Dallagnol envious: "May God bless this great nation."
In his statement justifying his vote in favor of the fraudulent impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff on March 16, 2016, Eduardo Cunha also invoked God and the nation: "May God have mercy on this nation."
On that same day of sacrifice for democracy, then-congressman Jair Bolsonaro began by declaring his vote for the fraudulent impeachment, congratulating the then-Speaker of the House: "On this glorious day for the Brazilian people, congratulations President Eduardo Cunha."
Then, Bolsonaro went on to dedicate his vote: "For the memory of Colonel Carlos Alberto Brilhante Ustra, the terror of Dilma Rousseff, for the army of Caxias, [...], for a Brazil above all and for God above everyone, my vote is yes."
May Brazil be rid of these scoundrels and deceivers.
