Bolsonaro's inexorable fate is prison, following Marcos do Val's revelations.
"The illegal wiretapping of Alexandre de Moraes would be the pretext for implementing the coup plan and canceling the elections," says journalist Leonardo Attuch.
Even the tiles in Brasília know that Jair Bolsonaro, a fugitive in Orlando, is responsible for the terrorist acts of January 8th, which vandalized the Praça dos Três Poderes (Three Powers Square) in Brasília. There has been no shortage of reasons for his arrest for a long time now.
Now, with the revelations of Senator Marcos do Val (Podemos-ES) about the plot to illegally wiretap Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court, his arrest becomes imperative.
Marcos do Val, as my colleague Alex Solnik said, put Jair in charge. Bolsonaro at the crime sceneContrary to what has been widely reported, his accusation is not part of any elaborate plan to have Moraes declared a suspect in the investigations into the terrorist acts in Brasília. Marcos do Val spoke because he participated in the same plot that led to the imprisonment of former congressman Daniel Silveira and therefore knew that he was also in the line of fire. He was only trying to save his own skin.
What would be done with Moraes' audio? Some malicious editing that would create a pretext for the application of the coup plan recently found in the home of Anderson Torres, former Minister of Justice and former Secretary of Security of the Federal District, who was arrested for facilitating the terrorist acts of January 8th.
With that, the circle closes. It was Bolsonaro and his closest generals who ordered the terrorist camps to be maintained in Brasília after his defeat in the presidential elections. Since the wiretapping plan did not achieve its intended results, the coup plan was not implemented in December 2022, when Bolsonaro was still president.
The next move was to flee to Miami, from where the infamous January 8, 2023, events were organized, potentially leading to a Law and Order Guarantee operation. Now, all the loose ends are coming together. Daniel Silveira and Marcos do Val were part of the same coup conspiracy, led by Jair Bolsonaro, who already knows his inexorable fate and, for that very reason, calls himself "Italian." Without his arrest, Brazil will not have peace, and the economy will not grow again.
