Davos in 6 minutes. The future of Brazil in 6 minutes.

In less than 10 minutes, Jair Bolsonaro described his government strategy. He demonstrated once again his lack of confidence, knowledge, and his already declared subservience to foreign powers.

With his unique, bullet-point delivery style, making full use of pauses, commas, and breaths, Jair Bolsonaro, on his first international government trip, secured a record time by concluding his speech in Davos, Switzerland, in just 6 minutes.

With the presence of over 70 heads of state and 3.500 participants, Jair Bolsonaro had the spotlight, curiosity, and attention focused on him. After all, everyone wanted to know what the president-elect, accustomed to Twitter and other social media, had to say live.

Anyone expecting a fiery and lengthy speech (if anyone was expecting one at all) was disappointed.

In less than 10 minutes, Jair Bolsonaro described his government strategy, analyzed Brazil, spoke about the environment, agriculture, livestock, security, tourism, "corruption," party coalitions for exchanging favors, his journey to the campaign, and even introduced his super minister.

The fact is that in the 21st century, where everyone, even the most fervent neoliberals, has their eyes on issues such as global warming, sustainability, and – with the exception of Donald Trump – the depletion of natural resources, Jair Bolsonaro, in a critical tone, claims that Brazil is the country that best preserves the environment, pointing out that only 9% of the land is used for agricultural and livestock farming.

What the President may not know, ignore, or disregard is that the Amazon is the lung of the world, and that one of the reasons for contemporary greed and wars is precisely the pursuit and domination of countries that still possess abundant natural resources, such as oil! This is the case with Venezuela.

Here's another important piece of information: it's also beneficial to know that since the middle of the last century, the world has been concerned about the environment, holding conferences, meetings, and agreements. The ECO 92 conference, held here in Brazil, is a prime example!

Demonstrating once again a lack of security, knowledge, and his already declared submission to foreign interests. The patriot who commits to doing what is necessary and expected by the world, or to be more explicit, by the USA, catering to the desires of foreign capital, accelerating privatizations and reforms, thus suggesting in his speech the surrender and enslavement of the worker, ends up, in this way, directly contradicting his motto: "Brazil above all."

To fuel the illusion of his followers, Bolsonaro once again resorted to populist appeals: "From the Bic pen to the cafeteria food."

President Jair Bolsonaro appears in a photo having lunch alone in what appears to be a restaurant.

While for his followers, the solitary lunch signifies simplicity, for a more discerning observer, the photo actually reflects the fear and certainty of his inability to sit at the table alongside world leaders and thus expose his limitations.

On the other hand, the leaders should be grateful, because they escaped looking bad in the photo.

Before I forget, his six-minute speech included the phrase so often repeated by the President:

"Without ideological bias."
