Military summits are the main source of chaos and disorder.
"The Lula/Alckmin government will have to establish, with Congress and civil society, a framework for the professional performance of the Armed Forces," writes Jeferson Miola.

The partisan leadership within the Armed Forces is the main source of fuel for the fascist-Bolsonarist attempt to destabilize the country and artificially generate chaos and a profound political and institutional crisis.
The irresponsible conduct regarding the election is just another deplorable chapter in the unprofessional, unconstitutional, and conspiratorial actions of the Armed Forces. This irregular conduct, moreover, has been ongoing for some time; at least since the National Truth Commission in 2011.
Had the military leadership possessed even a modicum of shame, dignity, and institutional loyalty, they would not have orchestrated this pathetic charade with the report on the functioning of the electronic voting machines.
Instead, they chose to act directly and/or associate themselves with the chaos promoted by the fascist scum, under the vile illusion that, with the "clamor of the streets," they could intervene to "save Brazil."
The complicity with anti-democratic attacks is proven by the camaraderie with which the mutinous criminals in military areas are treated. These areas of military barracks and commands have become backyards for picnics by troublemakers.
The height of absurdity was the official letter sent by the Planalto Military Command to the Government of the Federal District requesting the provision of ambulances, the installation of portable toilets, and the provision of cleaning services in the area of the Brazilian Army Headquarters occupied by fascist hordes.
However, dissatisfied with the indifference of the political world and the judiciary to the false fraud allegations fabricated by Defense Minister General Paulo Sérgio Nogueira to disrupt the process, the commanders of the three Armed Forces decided to release a statement this Friday, November 11th, in yet another attempt to destabilize and cause a political and institutional crisis in the country.
In the message “to the Institutions and the Brazilian People” [as in the original, with the initials in uppercase], the commanders of the Navy, Army, and Air Force defend those who “criminally do not accept democracy and will be treated as criminals,” as the president of the TSE, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, has already stated.
In the laudatory and salvationist-tinged text, the commanders of the three branches of the Armed Forces repeat the delusions they harbor about themselves and the role of the Armed Forces; delusions, moreover, that find no support in the Constitution, such as:
– “The Brazilian Navy, the Brazilian Army, and the Brazilian Air Force reaffirm their unrestricted and unwavering commitment to the Brazilian people, to democracy, and to the political and social harmony of Brazil, ratified by the values and traditions of the Armed Forces, always present and moderating in the most important moments of our history.”
– “The Armed Forces remain vigilant, attentive and focused on their constitutional role in guaranteeing our Sovereignty, Order and Progress, always in defense of our People”;
– “We have prioritized Legality, Legitimacy and Stability, transmitting serenity, confidence in the chain of command, cohesion and patriotism to our subordinates”;
– “The focus will continue to be maintained on the tireless fulfillment of the noble missions of Brazilian Soldiers, with faith in Brazil and its peaceful and admirable people as the pillars of our convictions.”
For a considerable period after the dictatorship, the military maintained a discreet and secretive political operation within the barracks. This phase extends to their clandestine participation in the plot to overthrow President Dilma, as documented in the book by the usurper Michel Temer.
After the 2016 coup, they occupied key positions in the coup government headed by Temer – the Institutional Security Office (GSI), the Ministry of Defense, and the federal intervention in the State of Rio. From then on, they assumed a direct leading role in the process of colonizing the State apparatus; a process that reached its climax in the military government presided over by Bolsonaro.
The appointment of General Fernando Azevedo e Silva to serve in the office of the president of the Supreme Federal Court, Dias Toffoli, during the 2018 election process is part of this context of increasing military interference and tutelage, the most traumatic symptom of which was the tweet from the Army High Command signed by General Villas Bôas on April 3, 2018.
Destabilizing the country to justify a purported military intervention has always been part of the plans of the partisan leadership within the Armed Forces, who coordinate and organize themselves as a clandestine Military Party.
The military leadership is the main source of chaos and destabilization in the country.
To advance the restoration of democracy, the Lula/Alckmin government will have to establish, with Congress and civil society, a framework for the professional conduct of the Armed Forces within the strict limits of their institutional mission, that is, national defense against potential external threats and, therefore, completely outside of politics and civilian functions.
