With the complicity of Congress, Temer is accelerating the plundering of the country.
Journalist Ribamar Fonseca observes that, "since taking power two years ago, Michel Temer has not taken a single measure that has produced any benefit for the country and its people. On the contrary, all his actions are aimed at destroying the country, such as dismantling hard-won social programs and handing over our oil, including Petrobras, and other state-owned companies to foreigners"; the columnist questions: "The sell-out of these people is so scandalous that one wonders: are they really Brazilians or Americans disguised as Brazilians?"
It was no accident that Michel Temer only reached the vice-presidency of the Republic through legal means: he was not prepared to assume command of the nation. Hence the disaster of his presence in the Presidency, where he only arrived because he usurped the position through a coup. Since assuming power two years ago, Temer has not taken a single measure that has produced any benefit for the country and its people. On the contrary, all his actions are aimed at the destruction of the country, such as the dismantling of hard-won social programs and the handing over of our oil, including Petrobras, and other state-owned companies to foreigners. Just now he has approved the sale of Embraer, one of the most important Brazilian companies, to the American company Boeing, a crime against the nation like so many others he has committed. And it is preparing to hand over Eletrobrás, counting on the complicity of the Chamber of Deputies, whose president Rodrigo Maia maneuvered to secure the approval of a bill authorizing the sale of six of the electricity company's distribution companies.
Temer, as is easy to see, is not alone in this process of squandering our national assets: in addition to the support of the coup-mongering media, which hides the serious damage to our economy and our sovereignty, he also counts on the votes of the same deputies who approved the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff. They are all traitors to the nation, whose names need to be known by the people so that they can be removed from Congress in the next elections in October. This is because they are so dangerous to the sovereignty of our nation that, taking advantage of the people's distraction with the euphoria of the World Cup, they secretly approved a bill allowing Petrobras to transfer up to 70% of the pre-salt fields in the Santos Basin to foreign companies, which is equivalent to 5 billion barrels of oil. It was no coincidence that the Americans spied on Petrobras and President Dilma Rousseff. That's why the coup plotters know exactly where to attack regarding our oil, which has long been coveted by the United States. It was former President FHC who paved the way for the American advances by breaking the oil monopoly.
The PSDB party, led by Fernando Henrique Cardoso, has always shown enormous commitment to handing over our oil to Uncle Sam, as is easily seen in the article by the former president, a sociologist, published in 2015, in which he defended the removal of Petrobras's right as the exclusive explorer of the pre-salt layer, which he ended up achieving through a bill by another PSDB member, José Serra, approved by the Senate. In his article, he said that the Lula government "forced Petrobras to appropriate the pre-salt layer," as if the pre-salt layer were not Brazilian.
Enough!
Brazil can no longer tolerate rulers and parliamentarians who, elected to represent the people and defend their interests, are instead committed to oppressing the population, stripping them of their rights, and simultaneously defending foreign interests in addition to their own. Temer and his allies, particularly members of the PSDB party like FHC, care little about the nation's destiny, being more concerned with their own business and pleasing their American bosses. They are primarily responsible for the criminalization of politicians, transformed by Lava Jato into synonyms for corruption.
In truth, the coup, plotted in the basements of the United States Department of Justice as part of a much broader plan encompassing all of Latin America, had two main motivations: our oil and Brazil's rapprochement with China and Russia. The Americans never digested the unpalatable independence of our country during Lula's government, which maintained a relationship of equality with them and other nations, without the shameful subservience observed today in Temer's coup government, whose foreign minister is practically kissing Trump's hand. For the execution of the coup, which placed obedient lackeys in power, Uncle Sam counted on the participation of traitors to the Fatherland in the three branches of government. And, unlike traditional coups through the military, this time they preferred to use the Judiciary, which, assuming responsibility for the appearance of legality, endorsed the impeachment and began to hunt down, under the distorted mantle of the law, those who could threaten the new government obedient to the US.
Alarmed by the gradual loss of dominance over Latin American countries, which had grown closer to China and Russia through closer political and economic relations, the Americans embarked on a plan to regain control of the continent, first by influencing elections and then by overthrowing governments. However, their strategists concluded that the times no longer called for military coups and therefore decided to use the judiciary in what became known as lawfare, that is, the use of the law, interpreted according to their interests, to persecute political enemies. The first targets were Cristina Kirchner in Argentina; Lula in Brazil; and Rafael Correa in Ecuador. Since they could not secure the complicity of traitors in Venezuela, they threatened a military invasion. In Brazil, the main American arm in this action is Lava Jato, which, in addition to demoralizing the political class, destroying some of the country's most important companies, and causing thousands of job losses, put Lula in jail—its most important objective—disguised as a fight against corruption. It's no coincidence that Judge Sergio Moro is frequently in the United States. The subservience of these people is so scandalous that one wonders: are they really Brazilians or Americans disguised as Brazilians?
