"Shut up, Bolsonaro" is the equivalent of his pack kicking journalists.

"Both attacks signify censorship and restriction of the work of journalists, and represent a brutal violation of the fundamental guarantees of freedom of the press, information, and expression enshrined in the Constitution," writes columnist Jeferson Miola.

The scene of the would-be Brazilian Hitler aggressively standing at the entrance of the Alvorada Palace and ordering journalists to shut up is the expression of a person who is not only insane, but also someone whose continued presidency will exacerbate fascist violence in the country.

There is absolutely no difference between the physical aggression of the Bolsonaro supporters against journalists and Bolsonaro's verbal aggression against the press.

The "shut your mouth!"Ordered by Bolsonaro" is the verbal equivalent of the kicks, shoves, and punches inflicted by Bolsonaro supporters on journalists. It's a signal for unleashing violence against the press, the opposition, and anyone who doesn't align with extremist fanaticism.

Both aggressions signify censorship and restriction of the work of journalists, and represent a brutal violation of the fundamental guarantees of freedom of the press, information, and expression enshrined in the Constitution.

Bolsonaro has climbed several rungs on the dictatorial ladder to subvert the regime and establish a dictatorship. He has already struck at the heart of the rule of law.

In a statement regarding the attack on journalists by Bolsonaro supporters on Sunday, Defense Minister Fernando Azevedo e Silva stated that “Freedom of expression is a fundamental requirement of a democratic country.”, and said that “Any aggression towards media professionals is unacceptable."[here].

It would be contradictory, now, for Azevedo e Silva not to condemn the perpetrator of the "unacceptable aggression" against media professionals, who is none other than his own boss.

The Chamber of Deputies has the duty to authorize, with a 2/3 vote of its members, the Supreme Federal Court to judge Bolsonaro for the series of common crimes he commits.

Authorizing the trial of the genocidal figure in the Supreme Federal Court, with his immediate removal from office for 180 days [Brazilian Constitution, article 86], is an extremely urgent matter to prevent the country from entering an irreversible fascist spiral.
