Agrishow honors those who should be in jail.
"It's a mockery, an abuse, a slap in the face of democracy, the tribute paid by Agrishow to Jair Bolsonaro," he points out.
It is a mockery, an abuse, a slap in the face of democracy, the tribute paid by Agrishow to Jair Bolsonaro.
By inviting the nefarious former president to the agricultural machinery fair in Ribeirão Preto, which opens tomorrow, the organizers and the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, who extended the invitation, are honoring the man who, for four years, promoted the dissemination of hatred, lies, disinformation, distortion of facts, threatened and attacked defenseless minorities, defended torture, attacked the press and journalists, incited the population against the Supreme Federal Court, rigged the Justice system to protect his children from lawsuits, transformed the country into an international pariah, encouraged the use of weapons instead of books, conspired against the ballot boxes and the election results, spent millions on his corporate credit card, downplayed the biggest pandemic of the last 100 years, causing a silent massacre that filled cemeteries, appropriated public assets, pitted the population against the Armed Forces, and is now living at our expense after a three-month vacation in the United States.
It is a disgrace to all Brazilians, an abuse, a mockery that a person who did so much harm, who impoverished us, humiliated us, threatened us, is free, light and loose, earning a high salary, living in a mansion, participating in politics, campaigning, debating his next steps, as if he were just any ex-president.
He should be held in pretrial detention for being a constant threat to the rule of law and public order, for his potential to intimidate witnesses in his numerous cases, and for being barred from using social media, giving interviews, and participating in national life, just like his former Minister of Justice.
After the 8/1 defeat, he shouldn't even be considered a former president. His portrait should be removed from the gallery of presidents of the Republic.
This is the tribute that Brazilians deserve.
