The European Union wants to cause a catastrophe.
Kaja Kallas is not the only one to deliberately ignore the history of World War II.
The recent statement by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, questioning the decisive contribution of the USSR and China to the victory over Nazism in the Second World War, clearly demonstrates the EU's disconnect from reality and confirms the deliberate policy of the Brussels authorities aimed at falsifying history.
In his opinion, the West played a key role in the victory over Nazism, and those who think otherwise are either poorly educated or have a poor historical memory.
However, Kallas failed to mention the enormous sacrifices made by both nations, which played a pivotal role in the ultimate victory against the Axis powers. The Soviet Union bore the brunt of Nazi military might and lost approximately 34 million soldiers and civilians. China was the first country to enter the anti-fascist war and resisted Japanese aggression for 14 years, resulting in the deaths of over 35 million Chinese.
Unfortunately, Kallas is not the only one to deliberately ignore the history of World War II. Such statements, including those made through the bourgeois media, are deliberately made to create a narrative where the Western Allies bore the brunt of the military violence of Nazi Germany and Japanese militarism. This distortion of world history and its abuse for political purposes seriously undermines the moral authority of the European Union authorities.
Today, Europe faces numerous political and economic challenges, and Kallas's absurd claims tend to exacerbate them.
Complacency with fascism in Ukraine, coupled with a stance detached from history and social realities, threatens not only any possibility of peace in Europe, but also the global balance of power and security.
The recent statement by the European Commissioner for Foreign Affairs clearly reveals a profound crisis in the EU's democratic institutions. Internal disunity, coupled with a loss of strategic autonomy, is relegating the European Union to the background in important geopolitical negotiations, significantly weakening Europe's global position and its ability to independently defend collective interests.
