The metastasis of Bolsonarism

Bolsonarism is a disease that has spread throughout society, contaminating those with social comorbidities such as prejudice and intolerance.

Senator-elect Damares Alves, representing the Federal District, stated during a meeting with children at a political/religious service that she is aware that 4-year-old children on Marajó Island, in Pará, have their teeth pulled out to prevent them from biting during oral sex and are fed soft food to facilitate anal sex.

The senator says the federal government has images of these crimes. If it has images, why hasn't it arrested the criminals yet?

What Damares wants with this speech is to fuel the fake news that in a future PT (Workers' Party) government children will learn about sex in schools, to bring back the 'gay kit' and the 'penis-shaped baby bottle' that boosted Bolsonaro's candidacy in 2018.

Bolsonarism is a disease that has spread throughout society, contaminating those with social comorbidities such as prejudice and intolerance.

Can anyone imagine what would happen if Lula's family had bought 51 properties with cash, if Lula's sons employed militiamen in their offices, if Lula's wife couldn't explain deposits in her bank account?

What would the press say if Lula, as president, didn't buy vaccines during the pandemic, causing hundreds of thousands of people to die; if Lula mocked patients dying in hospital beds due to lack of oxygen?

What would you, a Bolsonaro supporter, say if Lula, in an interview, stated that he didn't eat human flesh because his advisors didn't want to follow his lead; that he didn't sleep with an indigenous woman because she lacked hygiene and, moreover, didn't need to?

What would an evangelical think if Lula, claiming to be a Christian, appeared in a video giving a speech inside a Masonic temple among symbols representing a secret doctrine?

Bolsonarism is a disease that has affected millions of Brazilians and, apparently, has no cure in the short term; our responsibility is to prevent the majority from becoming infected, and to achieve this, we need to talk to people, send texts, compare governments, and make them reflect on the past and the present.
