247 - One million progressives - a matter of resistance and of life!
It depends on information filled with truth and goodwill that serves as a lever and instrument for the soul, so that the Brazilian people occupy the place of citizens and not zombies in the social pyramid.
In Brazil, we don't only have Carnival and football as symbols of resistance; this statement may seem strange, but the existence of a popular festival and a popular sport has become a way of resisting, or perhaps even offering atonement for, so many injustices and social inequalities.
We are men and women who live on the periphery of history; colonization made us this way. So much so that we have developed a historically and chronically low self-esteem. We have been stifled, we have been "catechized," we are always "struck" by dictatorships and ideological, welfare-oriented populisms, and now we are trying to survive two types of viruses.
Yes, fascism is a virus that blocks and stifles, causes intelligence to regress, and divides the status quo into two classes: millionaires and the destitute. The coronavirus is also a symbol. It is biologically deadly, but it is also biopolitically powerful; that is, it is an instrument for controlling bodies, both from an organic and a social point of view.
Dying from COVID-19 eventually seems to me a decision potentially engineered by forces unknown to most, and it is becoming increasingly clear that there is a macro-system that chooses who lives. Queens, kings, princes, and most so-called government authorities seem impassive in the face of the matrix villain that invades host cells: and this is extremely curious.
It almost seems like this powerful structure without kingdom (Coronavirus) is a neoliberal agent that strives to establish a new political/economic regime aimed at intentionally relocating the world's population to new niches of production and exploitation. Power, knowledge, and social control, as discussed in Foucault's philosophy, seem to be in the crosshairs: as a biopolitical focus.
It's not a matter of etiquette or petty ethics that we subscribe to channel 247; it's a matter of life, of survival: since the bubble of misinformation and post-facto narratives generates lifeless robots who sometimes don't even believe that the planet rotates on its own axis and that the sun revolves around it.
There are measurements showing that the wealth of 42 Brazilians has increased by 177 billion reais since March. If we compare this to the numbers of hungry people, unemployed people, and the 100.000 deaths from the virus, we glimpse a sophisticated barbarity inaugurating a new contemporary post-age: THE HIGH CAPITALIST AGE.
We live under the aegis of Capitalism, which no longer sells goods, but rather actions, and actions based on fabricated facts. Open your eyes, people! Enough pain and suffering, it's necessary to study and reflect. There are people buying sofas for 500.000 reais, while you die in the pandemic and pandemonium. Life is precious.
Che Guevara was indeed right when he said: "Capitalism is the most respected genocidal force in the world." And now? Is there a solution? Is there a turnaround?
It depends on information filled with truth and goodwill that serves as a lever and instrument for the soul, so that the Brazilian people occupy the place of citizens and not zombies in the social pyramid.
