Tebet establishes a physical and digital connectivity program in South America.

The government seeks to create infrastructure networks through trade route projects throughout the region.

247 - The Minister of Planning and Budget, Simone Tebet, officially launched the South American Integration Routes Program, an initiative aimed at strengthening physical and digital connectivity and developing the regional capacities of South American countries.

"The South American Integration Routes Program - Routes, is hereby established, with the purpose of planning and coordinating integrated actions, as well as subsidizing the formulation and implementation of public policies, for the integration of physical, digital, social, environmental and cultural infrastructure among the countries of South America", says the ordinance, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on Tuesday (3).

According to the document, the government's priority projects are: Guiana Islands Route, Amazon Route, Rondon Quadrant Route, Capricorn Bi-Oceanic Route, and Southern Bi-Oceanic Route.

According to the document, the projects considered priorities by the federal government are the Guiana Islands Route, the Amazon Route, the Rondon Quadrant Route, the Capricorn Bi-Oceanic Route, and the Southern Bi-Oceanic Route.

According to the government, one of the program's objectives is to coordinate the measures necessary for the implementation of initiatives and projects within Brazilian territory, as well as to contribute to coordination with homologous governmental bodies in South American countries. The initiative also foresees joint action with international organizations to enable regional integration projects and the consolidation of partnerships aimed at developing technical studies and applied research related to South American integration.
