The Non-Aligned Movement condemns the inclusion of Cuba on the list of 'sponsors of terrorism'.
Protests against the "infamous list" drawn up by the US are growing worldwide.
Latin Press - The Non-Aligned Movement condemned the decision by the United States government to include Cuba again on its list of countries allegedly sponsoring terrorism, the digital portal UG Diplomat reported this Sunday (26) today.
According to the news agency, in a statement released on the 21st of this month, that body, a global coalition of 120 member countries that advocates non-alignment with the main power blocs, described the imposed measure as arbitrary and unilateral.
The Non-Aligned Movement also argued that such action is politically motivated and contradicts international calls for the normalization of relations between Washington and Cuba.
In the document, the Movement also urged the United States government to lift the economic, commercial, and financial blockade against the Caribbean country, which has been repeatedly condemned by the United Nations General Assembly.
