247 - A report by the consulting firm Ad Hoc warned that President Javier Milei's digital image fell by 9% after his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, following an analysis of the repercussions on social media. The study conducted by the consulting firm indicated that, at the beginning of 2025, Milei had 61% positivity on social media, but ended January with 52%. "Figures from various sectors of the opposition have positioned themselves against the president's statements, calling for or celebrating the mobilization on February 1st, which was widely classified by the media as the march against Milei," says the study, referring to the large demonstration held on Saturday, called for by the LGBTIQ+ collective.

Furthermore, the report points out that "the feeling of rejection" towards the president's statements "gave the opposition" a new angle to question the government, although they added that "digital sentiment remains more stable than the volume of conversation. The power of pro-government communities at the national level, aided this month by the repercussions of the president's international agenda, gives them the necessary support to dampen criticism from the opposition."

Homophobic speech - President Javier Milei's speech this Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, was marked by strong attacks on what he considers the "woke agenda," including homophobic references that generated outrage on social media. "They say nothing when a man disguises himself as a woman and kills his rival in a boxing ring," he stated, intending to provoke and generate controversy.

"These forums promote the LGBT agenda, trying to impose on us that women are men and men are women, only if they identify as such, and they say nothing when a man disguises himself as a woman and kills his rival in a boxing ring or when a prisoner claims to be a woman and ends up raping all the women who cross his path in prison," the president declared.

"Recently, the case of two gay Americans who, waving the flag of sexual diversity, were sentenced to 100 years in prison for abusing and filming their adopted children for more than two years, made world news," he exemplified.

"I want to make it clear that when I talk about abuse, it's not a euphemism, because in its most extreme versions, gender ideology constitutes, purely and simply, child abuse. These are pedophiles, therefore I want to know who supports these behaviors," he insisted.

The president stated that "they are irreversibly harming healthy children through hormonal treatments and mutilations, as if a five-year-old could consent to something like that."

"And if it happens that your family disagrees, there will always be people from the State willing to intercede in favor of what they call 'the child's best interests.' Believe me, the scandalous experiments that are being carried out today in the name of this criminal ideology will be condemned and compared to those that occurred during the darkest periods of our history," said Milei, without specifying which periods he was referring to.
