247 - Brazilian exports to Venezuela are exempt from tariffs after an error in the "system", reported the newspaper O Globo this Monday (28), citing information from the Venezuelan-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce of Roraima.

The reports contradict the information, released last week, about Venezuela applying a 77% tariff against Brazil.

The exemption is stipulated in an agreement between Brazil and Venezuela, but the error has generated complaints from Brazilian exporters. The Brazilian Foreign Ministry (Itamaraty) stated on the 26th that it has been monitoring the reports in coordination with the Ministry of Development, Industry and Trade (MDIC).
