247 - The two main opposition leaders in Venezuela are increasingly divided over the possibility of a US invasion of the country, according to Reuters.

According to the agency, the two main opposition factions, right-wing and far-right, disagree on what should happen in the face of increased attacks on Venezuelan vessels and the significant US military presence in the Caribbean Sea region.

One faction, led by far-right activist Maria Corina Machado, aligned itself with the Trump administration's discourse and declared its support for the invasion, while the other, led by Henrique Capriles, rejected armed intervention and advocated for resuming diplomatic negotiations.
