According to him, the Venezuelan leader's discourse was permanently guided by the defense of national unity, becoming a central reference point in the country's recent political trajectory. "The Commander is the main reference for what we are experiencing today in Venezuela. His call for unity is the fundamental value that keeps us standing," he declared.
Cabello, who also holds the position of Minister of Interior Affairs, Justice and Peace, stated that the presence of comrades who participated in the events of 1992 strengthens the collective spirit of the date. Current context and the enduring spirit of 1992
Reiterating the historical importance of the episode, Cabello declared: “Feel proud because history will recognize you. From February 4, 1992, Venezuela changed forever.” He then added: “Today the whole world knows: we are the only ones who guarantee peace in this country; it is the Bolivarian Revolution.”
The vice-president of the PSUV also commented on the current situation in the country, stating that the moment demands greater political awareness and a strengthening of leadership. “Today Venezuela is standing tall and we will never kneel before anyone,” he said. Assessing the population's response after the events of January 3rd, Cabello highlighted the firmness demonstrated by Venezuelans. “Today we can say that the Commander did not stop at sea. What we are reaping is precisely this sown awareness, and that is what allows us to remain standing, firmly, in the face of any circumstance,” he stated.
Finally, the leader acknowledged the political maturity of the Venezuelan people and appealed to the leadership of the Bolivarian process. “The people have a high level of awareness, but the leadership needs to raise its level. There can be no room for individualism or personalism,” he declared. Addressing decision-making in complex moments, Cabello concluded: “In any circumstance, the best thing is always to think: 'What would Chávez do?' And that's where you always find the right answer,” reinforcing that the spirit of February 4th remains present in the country's political life.
