247 - With the unveiling of the campaign logo for the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and China, both countries inaugurated the series of events to celebrate the anniversary, which will take place on September 28, reports the Granma newspaper.
During a virtual conference, the Chinese ambassador to Cuba, Hua Xin, and his counterpart in Beijing, Alberto Blanco Silva, discussed the use of the logo and programmatic activities, according to a note from the Chinese diplomatic mission in Havana.
The representative of the Asian giant expressed that the mutual relations between the two countries have always been at the forefront of the times and the world, and this campaign will serve to promote the special friendly relations between both nations in the new era.
He emphasized that both sides should jointly implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two countries and take stronger steps to promote the building of a community with a shared future for China and Cuba.
In turn, the Cuban diplomat said that his country will use the 65th anniversary celebrations as an opportunity to better implement the three main global initiatives and the Belt and Road project.
He added that strategic cooperation between China and Cuba will be promoted to a higher level.
