(Reuters)- Agriculture Minister Carlos Fávaro said on Thursday that the government is preparing a framework of measures in the Harvest Plan, among other measures, to increase food production and reduce prices.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Planalto Palace, Fávaro also stated that the government may purchase stockpiles to guarantee prices.
